Bio

I grew up on the beach in New Jersey, found myself in upstate New York for undergrad, followed my art educator position to Alaska and wove in my graduate studio work at MICA in Maryland. 

  Here on this little island in Alaska my life has blossomed. I've had an annual solo show here on the island since 2009. My teaching career (which starting in 2008) is still going strong, I met and married a fisherman in 2014 and our first child was born in 2015. *The Bio photo was taken at my solo show in 2019. 

  In 2019, I started shifting some of my painting interests to jewelry making: specifically Enameling on copper.
